Hôm qua, hai phóng viên truyền hình Mỹ đang thực hiện buổi phỏng vấn trực tiếp bên ngoài thì bị một cựu đồng nghiệp bắn bằng súng đến chết. Trong bài phát biểu của mình, bà Hillary Clinton cho rằng nếu người ta kiểm tra nhân thân đầy đủ, nếu người ta quan tâm hơn đến những người buồn bã vì bị sa thải, nếu súng không được bày bán tự do đến thế, thì có thể không xảy ra những thảm kịch như vừa rồi.

I was so, just stricken to think, that these two young people doing the work that you guys do every single day will be murdered on live television.

But I believe we are smart enough, compassionate enough to figure out how to balance the legitimate Second Amendment rights with preventive measures and control measures so that whatever motivated this murderer who eventually took his own life we will not see more death, needless, senseless death,

But it happens every day. Intentional, unintentional, murders, suicide, it happens every day and there is so much evidence that if guns were not so readily available, if we had universal background checks, if we could just put some time out between the person who is upset because he got fired, or the domestic abuse, or whatever other motivation may be working on someone who does this, then maybe we could prevent this kind of carnage.
