Từ khi Mark đi vệ sinh quay lại thì thời gian còn lại của bộ phim là 7a. Do khi xem được 1/3 bộ phim thì Mark đi vào nhà vệ sinh nên 8a là thời gian của 2/3 bộ phim và 12a là thời gian của bộ phim.
Mặt khác, thời gian từ khi Mark quay lại đến 21:12 gấp sáu lần thời gian còn lại của bộ phim, nên thời gian từ khi Mark quay lại đến hết phim gấp bày lần thời gian từ 21:12 đến hết phim. Suy ra thời gian từ 21:12 đến hết phim bằng thời gian Mark đi vệ sinh và cùng bằng a.
