All được dùng với danh từ số nhiều (all the students) và danh từ không đếm được (all the furniture) nhưng không dùng cho danh từ số ít. Nếu bạn muốn chỉ 100% của một thứ gì đó, bạn hãy nói the whole hoặc the entire.
2. If I’m stressed out about something, I tend to have problem to fall asleep.
Sửa lại: If I’m stressed out about something, I tend to have trouble/ a hard time falling asleep.
Đây là cách diễn đạt tự nhiên hơn. Chúng ta không thường dùng động từ nguyên mẫu có -to (to-V) sau problem. Nếu bạn muốn nói về một hành động khó khăn, hãy dùng trouble hoặc a hard time trước động từ có đuôi -ing (V-ing).
3. One of the most important issue is the lack of parking spaces at the local mall.
Sửa lại: One of the most important issues is the lack of parking spaces at the local mall.
Khi sử dụng cụm từ "one of...", danh từ sau đó phải ở dạng số nhiều nhưng động từ lại chia ở số ít. Ví dụ, "One of my friends is sick", “One of these eggs was rotten.”
4. If you don’t mind, I’d prefer leave early tomorrow.
Sửa lại: If you don’t mind, I’d prefer to leave/ leaving early tomorrow.
Hoặc: If you don’t mind, I’d rather leave early tomorrow.
Sau prefer, động từ ở dạng to-V hoặc V-ing. Sau rather, động từ ở dạng nguyên mẫu.
5. Do you have a few minutes to discuss about this project?
Sửa lại: Do you have a few minutes to discuss this project?
Hoặc: Do you have a few minutes to talk about this project?
Discuss có nghĩa là talk about. Do đó, bạn không cần thêm about sau discuss.
6. The survey we performed recently showed that most of customers are satisfied.
Sửa lại: a. The survey we performed recently showed that most of the customers are satisfied.
b. The survey we performed recently showed that most of our customers are satisfied.
c. The survey we performed recently showed that most customers are satisfied.
Sau most of, bạn phải thêm mạo từ the hoặc tính từ sở hữu như my/ his/ our/ their... Tuy nhiên, nếu dùng mỗi từ most, bạn chỉ việc thêm danh từ ngay sau nó: most people, most houses...
7. Although I’ve known him for a while, I still can’t believe how much stubborn he is.
Sửa lại: Although I’ve known him for a while, I still can’t believe how stubborn he is.
Trước các tính từ như stubborn (ngang bướng), chúng ta chỉ dùng how (how friendly, how cold, how expensive...). How much/ how many được dùng với danh từ (how much money, how many friends, how much snow...).

Sửa lại: This is a very simple procedure; it will take less than ten minutes.
Khi so sánh hai thứ, chúng ta dùng từ than. Ví dụ, "the city is bigger than the town", "a bike is less expensive than a car".
9. I’ve loved classical music ever since I was child.
Sửa lại: I’ve loved classical music ever since I was a child.
Hoặc: I’ve loved classical music ever since I was young.
Khi dùng tính từ như "young", bạn không cần thêm mạo từ (I was hungry, I’m tired...). Khi dùng danh từ trong câu này, mạo từ là bắt buộc (I was a manager, I’m a sports fan...).
10. Would you like to take part of this activity?
Correct: Would you like to take part in this activity?
“Take part of” có nghĩa là lấy một mẩu, một phần của thứ gì đó. Ví dụ, “He took part of the bread and dipped it in the soup” (Anh ta lấy một mẩu bánh mì và nhúng vào súp). “Take part in” có nghĩa là tham gia. Ví dụ, “I took part in the chess tournament" (Tôi tham gia trận đấu cờ).
