Hôm qua, Tổng thống Putin được phong cửu đẳng, thuộc hàng cao nhất của môn võ Taekwondo, trong chuyến thăm Hàn Quốc, quê hương của môn võ này. Huyền đai và giấy chứng nhận đã được ông Choue Chung-won, lãnh đạo Liên đoàn Taekwondo Thế giới, trao cho tổng thống Nga. Tới nay, chỉ có vài người được phong tặng cửu đẳng trong môn phái Taekwondo.
"Tôi không nghĩ mình lại được nhận một đẳng cao như thế. Chúng tôi xem đây là một cách quảng bá cho môn võ thuật tuyệt vời này", Putin nói sau khi được phong cửu đẳng ở Hàn Quốc.
