System.INI bị hỏng (1)

Each time I open my computer, the massage occurs : "System.INI is damaged. It may be needed to run windows. You may need to run the windows setup program again. You may need to reinstall C:\windows\system\aspienum.vxd". I tried to reinstallthe system diskette, but I could not. If some one know how to fix it please answer me. Thank for your help. My computer is: Toshiba -satellite 2805-S301-windows me.

This is a known problem in Windows Me (this OS has a lot of problems, by the way), you might have just upgraded to Me from Windows 98 or 95. Anyhow, this is how to fix it:

1. Restart your computer. As the computer is starting, press and hold either the CTRL or F8 key.
2. On the Startup menu, choose Safe Mode .
3. After your computer starts, click Start , and then click Run.
4. In the Open box, type msconfig , and then press ENTER.
5. Click the Static VxDs tab, and then click to clear the Aspienum.vxd check box.
6. Restart the machine. If you have a burner, after doing this, you might want to download and install the latest ASPI driver. Just go to www.adaptec.com and search for "ASPI". Dong Ngo
